Saving Split Oak is a film that follows the local issue surrounding Split Oak Forest, a preservation land being threatened by attempts to build an expressway through its beautiful landscape. Through grassroots activism and organizing, community members come together for the shared purpose of saving Split Oak Forest and preventing a horrible precedent from being set for protected land everywhere.
