This short film is comprised of interviews, insight and close-ups moments with industry-leading Artists, Advocates, Trailblazers and the Community at-large of whom support and love the Arts. The docu-film addresses the topic of Financial Literacy, Pay Inequity, Wage Gaps, Racial/Ethnic Discrimination and the ongoing Economic Crisis that continues to pervade in the Arts Sector well before the Pandemic. Although the Creative Economy makes up the top 5% percentile of global wealth - its contributors (Creatives, Arts Educators, Muses, Aspiring Artists and Professionals) are not living up to their potential, simply from not knowing or having been introduced to basic finances. The docu-film is a campaign and call to action for more transparency, involvement and inevitably the total reform of art institutions, program curriculum, training schools and college/universities. Take Note. We’ve putting some of the best in the industry in the Hot Seat, to talk about a very Hot Topic. It’s LIT!!!! Financial Lit!
