Expanding Sanctuary

An immigrant mother emerges as a community leader during the historic campaign to end the sharing of the Philadelphia police database with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

While on a mission, space ranger CARSON QUOD (J.R. Adduci, Haunted Mansion) crashes on a foreign planet, rendering his spacecraft useless. After multiple failed attempts to communicate with his team on Earth, Carson starts hearing a strange, muffled voice coming through his receiver. As the voice grows more coherent, Carson begins to question his location, the voice, and his own sense of reality.

The Space In Between

In the alternate history short film If They Took Us Back, the U.S. government mandated the return of all formerly enslaved people back to Africa in 1863. More than a century later, a descendant of the âBlack Returnsâ(DANIEL) decides to break the 160-year exile and return to the U.S. in exchange for overdue reparations from a remorseful, sympathetic and Black-obsessed America.

In this alternate history narrative, the U.S. government mandated the return of all formerly enslaved people back to Africa in 1863. More than 150 years later, a descendant of the Black Returns must decide whether to break the exile and return to the US in exchange for reparationsâand confront the hidden cost.
