6ft of Love
In this ode to silent film, it's 2020 in New York City and the governor implements social distancing. One married couple takes it to the extreme; but when tragedy strikes, will they bridge their divide?
Archive & The Storyteller
Matthew works for the Archive, no, he's the face of the Archive. He's on every social media platform, his days are timed out to the minute by his "people"..he's in the cog so to speak. Krystal, is an artist and scientist who lives completely off the grid. She keeps track of the declining weather progression with her own system, has a survival "go" bag and enjoys quiet and solitude. The two meet by chance one day when Matthew decides to step out of his routine and Krystal is out foraging. The next few months are spent in a cocoon of love with minimal outside distractions proving two people from very different worlds actually have a lot more in common. They almost forget that the world as we know it is ending soon and will "restart". The only survivors will be those who opted into the "Archive", a program that Matthew is the literal face of and Krystal wants absolutely nothing to do with. The pair then have to make a life changing decision.
Calabaza
Martin is a young Chicano rocker living in Los Angeles. He has always lived at home and gotten pretty used to coexisting with his depressed and alcoholic father while presenting a more curated version of himself to the outside world. He’s even recently started dating Lynn, a young woman he met at one of the many backyard shows he goes to every weekend. But an unexpected and last-minute change to a pumpkin carving date with Lynn forces the reality of Martin’s situation to the forefront and makes him look at his life and his father from a new perspective.
Glafira
Tony, (Chicano, 25) travels down to Ensenada, Mexico to reconnect with his grandmother through her swap meet endeavors forcing him to revisit his childhood memories of her. GLAFIRA is universal in theme as it honors both the connection and disconnection between immigrant generations. It also brings awareness to the transborder community to help de-stigmatize the Mexico/California border. Based on true events.
