Coming to São Paulo (Brazil) in the 1970s in search of “new horizons”, Penna Prearo became one of the most important photographers of his generation. At the same time that the verticalization of the city limits the horizon, the advance of Parkinson's disease pushes him to increasingly radical artistic interventions in his own photographs, recreating a new poetic horizon for San Paul and for himself.
