Haunted by the recent death of her mother—Brazilian stage legend Narcisa—Ana returns to her childhood home in Rio de Janeiro with one clear mission: sell the house, split the inheritance with her younger brother, and move on. But the past has no interest in being sold.

What begins as a straightforward estate settlement quickly unravels into something far more unsettling. In the cavernous rooms of the family home, Ana begins to feel it first—an unease that hums beneath the surface. Then come the signs. Subtle at first. A shifting reflection. A locked dressing room that refuses to stay closed. And then, unmistakably, Narcisa herself—still commanding the stage, even from beyond the grave.

As Ana and her brother dig through their mother’s belongings, the house transforms into something alive—less a structure than a memory made physical. Every corridor echoes with unresolved grief, every object feels charged with intent. Old wounds resurface. Family truths fracture. And Narcisa’s presence grows stronger, as if her final performance is still in progress, with Ana as her unwilling audience. What was meant to be closure becomes a reckoning.

A hypnotic supernatural thriller, NARCISA’S WILL blends psychological suspense with operatic emotional intensity, where family history becomes haunting, and the past refuses to stay offstage.
