About the Key Creatives:

Liliya Roys - Director

Liliya Roys is Ukrainian Visionary Director currently based in Vancouver. She is known for her emotionally raw and at the same time experimental style. She found strong inner connection to Filmmaking and Acting in early childhood and never stopped developing her film language ever since. Currently, she works professionally on Indie BC Film sets as a 1st AD, prepares for her acting Debut in a leading role for the feature and writes script for her new upcoming film. The note from Liliya: "Everyone has their own language to communicate with the world. Mine is Directing. I feel truly grateful to be able to make the vision come to life. With my works, I hope to touch people around me with my soul! That's such a unique feeling."

Soohyun Hong - Producer

Hi! I am a 3rd year UBC film production student based in Vancouver, Canada and Seoul, South Korea. I aspire to work in the film industry as a producer and editor and I hope to make films that could touch upon the hearts of many. I love film as I believe that film is an artistic medium that allows other people to experience different lives and stories that they might not have ever been able to experience in real life. I believe that life itself is a form of art and I love how film records those artistic parts of life. I hope my work can connect with those who watch them.

Jamie Mitri - Cinematographer

Jamison (Jamie) Mitri is an aspiring cinematographer and director who grew up in Honolulu. He is currently a 3rd year BFA Film Production student at the University of British Columbia with an interest in narrative and experimental films as well as music videos.
