Richard Kanzler closes his pharmacy one night, only to get robbed by a masked gunman. Kanzler suspects he knows who the robber is because of how the robber keeps mispronouncing his name. Once home, Kanzler calls the cops and relays his story only to figure out that the cops might actually be involved in the robbery.

Frank Donnangelo is an award-winning writer-director whose past works have garnered support from Kodak, Fotokem, as well as the Panavision New Filmmaker Program. Frank's talents for bringing the most supple character nuance to the screen are felt throughout his most recent film, THE MOTIONS, which tells the searing story of a woman's complicated response to the inevitability of heartbreaking loss. The film won Grand Prize Best Student Short at the 37th Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival and Grand Prize Best Short at the Williamsburg International Film Festival. Drawn to intimate character-driven dramas, Frank tells stories of consequence, expressing themes of unrequited love, and uncertain forgiveness. He exposes the raw human truths we tend to hide from one another, that resonate and evoke introspection within his audience.
