When his father dies, Martin goes home to Cape Cod to prepare the house for sale while sharing it with his father’s temperamental live-in boyfriend. The son slowly realizes that he has no idea what his father’s life has been like for the past six years. The pool-guy philosopher, the bubbly anaconda of a real estate agent, the neighbor boy who loves to sing submerged in a garbage can – all circle the son and the lover while the two circle each other. They butt heads and argue about how best to remember and honor the man they both loved.
