In 2015, a girls’ basketball team forms up in Iceland. The coach is unconventional and at times controversial, yet the girls thrive under his leadership. They set their goals high: They will always compete against the best teams, both in girls’ and boys’ tournaments – until the day they are no longer allowed to compete with the boys, that is. Raising interesting questions regarding our expectations of female athletes, this is the story of girls who decide to level the field by raising the bar.
