Adam is a poor 21-year-old shepherd with a severe stutter whose only career option seems to be working on his father’s farm. But he soon discovers that his love for hip hop music may help manage his speech impediment and potentially alter his fate. This award-winning debut feature film from Hungarian director Szilárd Bernáth is the gritty tale of a young man trying to overcome the challenges in his life and find a new path. Depicting the socioeconomic challenges facing Adam and his friends with honesty and authenticity, Bernáth’s film feels alive and real, delivering a powerful story of hope in the midst of circumstances that may seem hopeless.
