Thirty-something “Judy” has been described as a free spirit, a daydreamer, a boy-crazy hot mess, and a great one-night stand in spite of his prodigious consumption of alcohol and party “favors.” And then there’s his bestie – his “Chrissy” – his partner in crime who dishes with him at the bars on Fire Island and, most importantly, makes up the other half of their tired drag act. This was supposed to be the summer it all comes together for this ambitious drag queen/cater-waiter. So when Chrissy abruptly announces that he’s moving from New York to live with his boyfriend, a disillusioned Judy is left to examine his life and priorities – both onstage and off. Writer-director-star Todd Flaherty, making his feature debut in striking black and white, gifts Judy with hidden depths behind the party boy façade as he attempts to answer the question: what do you do when your chosen family no longer chooses you?

A Q&A session featuring director/writer/actor Todd Flaherty, actor/co-lead Wyatt Fenner will follow the screening.
