A serendipitous encounter in a NYC bar with an older gay man leads Milo (Molly Bernard, Younger), currently at a standstill in life, to a monumental decision — to volunteer herself as surrogate for him and his partner. Her intentions are called into question when the pregnancy reveals more deep-seeded yearnings for connection with the man, challenging her expectations for performing the deed. In her feature debut, writer/director Morgan S Ingari confronts issues of blurred boundaries and the pangs of desire with a funny and touching ode to fighting life's doldrums with self-love. —Joseph Hernandez
