Cyclist Anna Lena Kempen gave life to the idea for The Frigid Bitch Race over 9 years ago because there wasn’t a space for her in the male-dominated cycling field. She wanted to create an inclusive space for women (and quickly realized the importance of including all underrepresented genders). The race would be harder, longer, colder and more terrible and awesome than other races, and it would be just for us.

A new year’s party takes an unexpected turn when Enni runs into her ex-girlfriend Aliisa. Old feelings are quick to resurface even though Aliisa is engaged to another woman. Enni finds herself longing for the relationship she has already lost and soon gets caught up in the consequences of not letting go of the past.

Ayumi Tani, an owner of a small bookstore, and Sayaka Murakami, a call center worker, are a lesbian couple living together. Will there be a place where Ayumi and Sayaka can enjoy their own slice of happiness?
