Foragers interweaves documentary and fiction to report on a searing conflict between the Israel Nature and Parks Authority and Palestinian foragers. Farms at Work is a not-for-profit organization working toward building a resilient, healthy food and farm system in East Central Ontario through public education, support for new farmers, protection of farmland, and promotion of healthy soil and water. 


Our mission is to provide space for experimentation, demonstration, hands-on-learning, knowledge sharing and community building, as well as facilitating access to land. 


Our mandate is (1) to advance education for farmers and prospective farmers by providing opportunities for learning and mentorship in agriculture, (2) advance education by providing opportunities for the public to increase understanding and appreciation of farming, food systems, and community food security, (3) to protect the environment for the benefit of the public through researching, demonstrations, and supporting food and farming systems that conserve or restore ecosystem health, and (4) to protect farmland for the benefit of the public of acquiring interest in, managing and facilitating access to farmland for farmers.
