The unmistakable sounds of the Moog and synths are back - and back in a big way, and this excellent documentary goes to prove it!

Narrated by much loved film director and movie-syth pioneer John Carpenter, this terrific documentary examines the current state of play of the thriving “Synthwave” movement. Carpenter’s own scores for Escape From New York, Halloween, Dark Star and a host of others of the 70s and 80s have had an indelible impact on film and TV today including most recently Stranger Things, but the river runs very deep in the live and vinyl scene.

Moving across the globe, this excellent piece interviews Synthwave’s current exponents and examines the history of the sound through cinema.

We love this’s just so cool!
