We love Caveh Zahedi!

Way back in 2005 we had the great pleasure of screening his film I Am a Sex Addict (available on REVonDEMAND) and in 2012 his fantastic documentary The Sheik and I (also available on REVonDEMAND)...and now here comes this nuggety examination of the nature of communication.

Set entirely in and around the university classroom in which he teaches, a grand experiment of sorts begins as his small group of students work their way into each other’s lives, opinions and understanding. In an upside-down version of Glee, this film is chaotic, hilarious, frustrating, shambolic and utterly in the moment. How to Overthrow the US Government (Legally) is a documentary form of which Zahedi is king, and it’s just great to watch.

In what is one of the few - if any - screenings outside of its world premiere at Rotterdam earlier this year, we’re proud to again have the Zahedi tornado in our lives.
