While their mother was in Italy as a migrant worker to provide for their family, Georgiana assumed her mother's role to her six siblings. Head of the household at 15 years old, hers is one of many real stories of people caught up in the ordinary struggle to make life work.

Georgiana's story is captured beautifully by Teodora Ana Mihai, who wished to tell “the story behind the story.”
