In Radu Muntean’s latest feature film, well-meaning urban professionals drive up muddy unpaved mountain roads on their annual humanitarian trip bringing aid to the remote village of Întregalde. As night falls and temperatures drop, they take shelter in an abandoned sawmill with a jabbering, senile old man. It tests their altruism in the face of having reached their own limits and questions the ethics of their motivations as benefactors.

Întregalde was recently selected in the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs section at Cannes.
