Participants of "Encounter with Death“ course arrive to Porer lighthouse. They expected self-knowledge, instead there comes a shock. A strong storm cuts the participants off from the world, and in the morning they find one of them stabbed to death. Due to the storm, the land is out of reach and the isolation which was supposed to be a part of the therapy, turns into a trap. Death is much closer than they ever dared to imagine.

Director Biography - Zuzana Marianková, Marek Najbrt

Director and screenwriter, graduate of film and television directing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. Her short films Almost There and Cold Hands won the prestigious New York 24 hour film race. She co-wrote the screenplay for Cuky Luky Film (2017). As a director, she has produced several successful student films and popular television series, including Guy (2022), Kitchen (2019), Upper Lower (2018), Dads (2018), Behind the Glass (2016), and Wild Horses (2015). She made her feature film debut with the comedy Known Unknowns (2021)..
