In reference to Année Moliere and continuing our very loose exploration of Cinema's links to Theatre, it is necessary to revisit Kozintsev's KING LEAR.
With an original music score by Dmitri Shostokovitsch and a translation by Boris Pasternak, one of the finest poets in any language, this masterly film is unmissable.
