Fund Raising Screening for MAP
"GAZA"
Zahra Yassine from MAP, will speak at the event,
as well as Becky Gardner, a lecturer from Goldsmith's.
This screening is a special event aimed at raising urgently needed funds for MAP. Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees.
MAP provides immediate medical aid to those in great need, while also developing local capacity and skills to ensure the long-term development of the Palestinian healthcare system.
MAP’s team in Gaza were among the first to respond to the current emergency and remain one of the only international organisations working to provide humanitarian and medical services, including in the north.
While our emergency response is mainly focused on Gaza, we are also supporting medical services in the occupied West Bank, amid a significant escalation of Israeli military and settler violence against Palestinians.
There will be speakers to provide context and answer questions.
