This is a portrait of painter Lucinda Urrusti (Melilla, Spanish Morocco, 1926). She arrived in Mexico in 1939, with her parents and brother, as refugees from the Spanish Civil War. The film is constructed from articulated fragments of interviews made to her from 2012 through 2017. These interviews are intertwined with a critical text of her art by writer Jaime Moreno-Villarreal, and complemented with the participation of art researcher Eduardo Espinosa-Campos’, artist Manuel Felguérez’, and Mariau Urrusti, photographer.
