This panel will feature some of the leading independent voices creating story-driven/impact-minded work. In common, our panelists share their practice of going the extra mile to generate dual value, both financial and social, and using creative excellence to level the playing field for underrepresented people including women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA, and alternatively abled voices. These writers, directors, and producers are pushing out the contours of narrative change, and together, in support of one another’s work, joining forces in building alternative playing fields of a re-shaped ecosystem – one with greater opportunity and access, and in support of equity and economic transformation.
