This program of documentary shorts will have you pulsing with Maasai tribal dancers in Kenya, suspended from the cliffs of the Grand Canyon, awestruck by the daring athletic feats of Bay Area-based disability arts ensemble Kinetic Light, and rooting for young ballet dancers following their dreams in Canada.

ADUMU is the story of the an African choreographer’s struggle to achieve his dream. His goal - to produce an African dance show fusing contemporary dance with Maasai traditional dance. The Maasai are happy to oblige but Kenyan society and COVID put obstacles in his way.
