Cinema Kawakeb follows a filmmaker’s struggle to capture the fading life of a crumbling cinema in Amman, Jordan. Through the stories of its last two employees and its only loyal patron a homeless scrap collector who lives for classic Indian films the documentary becomes a meditation on loss, memory, and conflict.
