Greece is known for its historic shipwrecks, the famous Greek summer, the ideal temperature, and the pristine sea waters, attracting divers from all over the world.For us, however, this country has much more to offer. It has four seasons and about 10,000 caves, underwater and above ground, most unexplored and uncharted.The last water frontier of our planet.The “4 Caves – 4 Seasons” is a dive into four unique caves of the Peloponnese and film karst springs, rooms with cave themes of several meters, narrow siphons with sedimentary rocks, and well-hidden rooms untouched over the millennia. We roam from the Arcadian mountains to the spring of the ancient Inachos River through a route that reveals to us the geological history of our place in a unique way.

In 1960, a treaty was signed between Greece and Germany that led almost 600.000 Greeks to immigrate and live as workers in the factories and mines of Germany. Descendants of this migration stream, Teo, Aglaia and Vasso, allow us a glimpse of their daily lives and reveal the effects of that massive population movement on the present and the future: the "meeting" of two cultures and the interaction in today's socio-political developments. Through them we can recognize the undercurrent that drives their lives and connects them, while at the same time we are meeting the third generation of immigrants, who are neither "foreigners", nor Germans or Greeks, but in a way citizens of the world, freed from the often limited traditional concept of Homeland.

A Couple of Years

Anthea Sylbert (Giannakouros) was a real trailblazer. A two-time Oscar-nominated costume designer, she worked on iconic films such as Rosemary’s Baby and the classic film-noir Chinatown. She also designed Julie Christie’s famous black dress for Shampoo. Sylbert was one of the few women in the New Hollywood era to transition from the creative side of filmmaking to the business side: she served as an executive at Warner Bros. and United Artists before co-founding SylbertHawn Film Productions with her close friend, actress Goldie Hawn.The feature documentary ”Anthea Sylbert: My Life in 3 Acts” chronicles her remarkable life, spanning three decades of Hollywood history, through her own words and the testimonies of those who know her well, such as Oscar-winning actress Goldie Hawn and legendary costume designer &amp; historian Deborah Nadoolman Landis.The documentary paints a vivid portrait of Anthea’s journey from her early years in New York, to her time in the dazzling Los Angeles of the New Hollywood era, and the paradise she eventually chose for herself – a place filled with sun, sea, and the fragrance of bougainvillea.

Neurologist Katerina and former doctor Yannis are heading off to a deserted seaside resort. Silence descends on the car as they travel across dunes in a windy autumn, matching the less-than-pleasant occasion: Yannis has been called to identify the victim of a tragic accident at the hospital of the small town. When the local policeman informs them that the victim’s vehicle had plunged over the parapet of a stone bridge and leads them to the morgue, Katerina sees her worst suspicions confirmed. Together with Yannis, but also on her own nightly excursions to a mysterious, rustic beach bar called Arcadia, they begin to put the pieces of the puzzle together, revealing a haunting story of love, loss, acceptance and letting go.

Bimsa: A basement, a cellar where we store the things we want to preserve over time. Kalarrites (a place where the waters flow seamlessly), a mountainous area on the peaks of the Pindos trail, remained proud and prosperous during the years of the Ottoman occupation. The few remaining residents still practice professions that will soon extinct, lacking any prospect of succession; they speak to the camera and take us on a journey through the history of the place.

Cinemas go to heaven when they die. The short film «Coming Soon.» captures moments from the last days of the historic Ideal cinema, which was located for 102 years at Panepistimiou ave., number 46, in the center of Athens. The film is dedicated to all the cinemas that for one reason or another are destined to go to heaven.
