My Family & The Explosion is a harrowing look at the aftermath of the explosion at Beirut port on 4 August 2020 through the life of a middle-class family, the Makhloufs who were hit right at home. An intimate portrait of familial tragedy and loss becomes a metaphor of a crushed city.
