
Gila, 65, was convinced that she would spend her final years all alone. She retired from her job in childcare on her kibbutz, after spending years tending to pre-schoolers. Then, fifteen years ago, she got divorced. Now, she spends most evenings with her family, who also live on the kibbutz. There’s her daughter Hadar, 44, her husband Yoni, 50, and their kids, who have a propensity to get wild. The couple’s relationship is in crisis, but then again, it’s not the first time.
