Sometimes, you come across a group of films that are all so different and yet still feel connected; To Each Their Own comprises of films just like these. While the assortment of stories in this program feel like a hodge-podge - a group of people who ceremoniously burn money, a school that trains butlers, an annual pigeon racing event - they all reflect two commonalities: a sense of communal identity and a strong slice-of-life. Each film covers what it means to be a part of a community, however small or odd it might be, and is a window into the world outside of the norm. If you like to hear about interesting people that live very different lives from your own, this is the program for you.

Burn Your Money is a short documentary about cash and sacrifice. It’s a strange journey into the world of ritual money-burning in 21st Century Britain.

This movie examines what money means to us as the filmmakers go in search of a secret mass-burn in London, UK. Why do some people burn their hard-earned wages? Is it morally wrong? Is it a hoax? What the fuck is going on?
