A girl's grandpa has trouble staying inside during quarantine, so she does her best to keep him from leaving. However, watching her grandpa grow lonelier and lonelier from isolation leads to her to question her mission.


Director Biography - Caitlyn Phu

Caitlyn Phu is an LA-based Asian American director and screenwriter who currently attends Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts studying Television Writing and Production. She first realized her passion for directing when she was accepted into the Academy of the Performing Arts’ Film/Live TV program the summer before high school freshman year. Since then, she has directed, written, and edited a number of award-winning short films, music videos, and editorials. In 2019, she was named the ‘Orange County Artist of the Year’ and a ‘Film Independent Future Filmmaker’. Her most recent short film, Durian, has been showcased in a variety of film festivals, from the Culture and Diversity Film Fest to the Film Independent Future Filmmaker showcase. Additionally, her work has been featured in a number of publications, including the OC Register, The Los Angeles Times, the Film Independent blog, and more.
