In the backstreets of the ancient city of Peshawar in North East Pakistan, a team of armed security guards gather in the morning light. Their mission is to protect Ishrat Rahim and her female colleagues - health workers on a mission to vaccinate the country’s children against Polio. 

But struggling to overcome cultural and religious suspicions, Ishrat faces constant refusals, and lives with the threat of violent attacks that have killed more than 200 of her colleagues.
