TV Writer, Dear White People 


DAHÉLI HALL [da.hay.lee] is an award-winning LA-based performer, writer, and director. She uses comedy as a form of activism. Currently, Dahéli can be seen in Justin Simien’s BAD HAIR on Hulu….and according to him is, “the funniest person on the planet.” She is a writer and performer on Netflix's DEAR WHITE PEOPLE and a recurring character on GRACE & FRANKIE. She is best known as a cast member and writer on season 13 of Fox’s MADtv. Dahéli has written and directed digital content for Funny or Die, VH1 and CBS. Dahéli also wrote and directed the Disney Channel’s hit digital micro-movie, EXCHANGE, and two of her short films: THE MEMO, and MANDINGO IN A BOX were licensed to HBO and won short film awards. Recently, Dahéli co-created and sold a half-hour comedy to BET with Pacific Electric Company producing. Dahéli is a Sundance Blackhouse Producing Fellow. She graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and has an MFA from the Stark Producing Program at USC. Dahéli is a native of Miami, FL, and proudly reps her Haitian and Jamaican descent.


QUAN LATEEF-HILL

Producer, AFROPUNK, Black Girls Rock, The Nod 


QUAN LATEEF-HILL is a multi-hyphenate Producer, Filmmaker, and Creator developing and producing multi-platform content in Television, Film, Digital, Podcast, Live Event & Experiential Production. Throughout her 20-year career, Quan’s award-winning body of work has included scripted and unscripted content with studios and networks such as Viacom/BET/VH1, Quibi, Discovery, NBC, PBS, Bravo TV, Issa Rae Presents, Refinery29, Doc Society, Tool of America, Phenomenon, Citizen Jones, AFROPUNK, BLACK GIRLS ROCK! and others. 


Quan has worked across various time zones producing and directing talent around the globe, including locations such as London, Paris, Johannesburg–South Africa, and Brasil. Many of her roles have included development, packaging, pre & post-production, staffing, impact strategy, talent booking and management. 


Quan formed Too Qute Productions in 2009 to produce and create projects that expand current perspectives of marginalized communities and focus on the narratives of women, youth, and people of color. Her goal is to inspire change and use storytelling to shift the global consciousness. Recently, Quan was an inaugural member of the 2019 Blackhouse Foundation/Independent Film Project (IFP) Multicultural Producers Fellowship, supported by HBO.

Shelbi’ Ham is a graduating senior, Mass Communications major at Albany State University. Shelbi‘ is the host of “Motivational Momentum”, a weekly afternoon drive show on Albany State University’s campus radio station “Real 92.7”. Shelbi’ is a member of the Pi Beta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
