Don't miss this rare opportunity to see all five Academy Award nominees in the category of Best Animated Short…and more! Nominees include: Disney-Pixar’s Burrow (USA), about a young rabbit who embarks on a journey to dig the burrow of her dreams, despite not having a clue what she’s doing; Genius Loci (France), about a young loner who sees among the urban chaos a moving oneness that seems alive, like some sort of guide; Opera (USA), a massive animation installation project which portrays our society and history, which is filled with beauty and absurdity; If Anything Happens I Love You (USA), an elegy on loss; and Yes-People (Iceland), in which an eclectic mix of people face the everyday battles—work, school, dish-washing—that test their relationships (and ultimately their capacity to cope).

Additional animated shorts from the Academy’s short-list will also be shown: Kapaemahu (USA); The Snail and the Whale (UK/Germany); and To Gerard (USA).

Note: Some of the animated films in this program may not be suitable for children under 12.
