Nearly all of us possess financial rights and financial power, through ownership of stocks and mutual funds, retirement accounts, pensions, and even insurance policies. But while these rights and privileges can equal, or even surpass, our political rights and political power, we rarely exercise them. This “Finance 101” interactive learning will introduce participants to the subtleties of using financial power and will be applied to a real-world campaign to reduce the culture of gun violence.
