Enjoy a presentation of excerpts from the new play written by Pulitzer Prize-winner Martyna Majok. Sanctuary City is the story of two teenage DREAMers, one recently naturalized and the other undocumented. Set in a post-9/11 but pre-DACA world, the play investigates the challenges of a lifelong friendship and what they risked to maintain it. The performance will be followed by a conversation among artists and citizenship activists.
