A war photographer returns to her roots in the forestry industry in Canada to embed with a community of 100 tree planters who overcome grueling conditions and emotional difficulties to bring back a forest.

Driven by the perseverance and vulnerability of its subjects as much as by the harsh beauty of the landscape, Forest For The Trees is a never-before-seen immersion into the backbreaking labour of professional tree planting — a rite of passage that is as transformative and rewarding as it is challenging for the young planters reforesting the earth one tree at a time.
