Edward, a fourth generation farmer, and his wife and Mae's quiet country life becomes unraveled as Nellie embarks on a quest to meet her parents and fill the void they left when they abandoned her 16 years ago. Faced with opposition from her grandfather who works so hard to protect her to a fault, Nellie must now defy her upbringing and run away to satisfy her desire. Unbeknownst to Nellie, her father is desperately working to get back into her life but must first get past the same hurdle as Nellie- her grandfather. Just when it seems as though life couldn't get any worse, an untimely death occurs that pushes the family into deeper turmoil. Now the family must work to recover from the disappointment of abandonment and Edward must now provide the healing needed within the walls of their home with the only weapon they have. Through prayer and forgiveness, generational curses are broken and the truth is revealed allowing complete healing to occur.
