Olivier does the best he can to fight injustice at work. But from one day to the next, when his wife Laura abandons the family home, he is left alone to juggle between the children’s needs, life’s daily challenges and his job. Faced with these new responsibilities, he struggles to find a balance. Because Laura’s not coming back.

Nominations

First screened at the International Critics' Week section at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. It received seven nominations at the 9th Magritte Awards and won five (the most for the event), including Best Film and Best Director for Guillaume Senez.

Selected in 25 festivals including 2 Cesar nominations for Best Foreign Film and Best Actor (Romain Duris)

“..the feature outlines the tenderly humanistic worldview of Senez, whose characters aren’t bad people and whose cinema doesn’t judge but observes and lets audiences make up their own minds about the state of the world we live in, both inside our homes and outside.”
