Yona is supposed to take his son to a remote military base and go home. Instead, he parks himself beneath an acacia tree outside the fence and stays put. Nearby, preparations are underway for a desert music festival, and a strange assortment of people begins drifting into his orbit. Funny and deeply vulnerable, A Burning Man finds a father trying to figure out how, exactly, you let go.
