The film screening and post-film program for Winter Journey is a partnership between the Tucson J, Tucson Jewish Museum + Holocaust History Center and Jewish Family + Children’s Services. The film is available for watching between Sunday, April 17 and Sunday, April 24. Once you begin watching you have 72-hours to complete the film. We are not able to provide refunds.

Martin Goldsmith never knew what happened to his parents before they escaped from Germany in 1941. Over a weekend, he confronts his father and we are brought back to the complex and confusing 1930s when the parents were young musicians.

Ticket holders are invited to join a post-film program conversation on Monday, April 25 at 7pm PST with Martin Goldsmith, whose parents the film is about. Martin, known to American radio listeners as the long-time host of NPR’s “Performance Today” and the host of the PBS special “Classical Rewind,” used those conversations as the basis for his acclaimed book The Inextinguishable Symphony, which in turn inspired Winter Journey. A link to the post-film program is provided in the confirmation email once you have purchased a virtual household ticket. We hope you find the film meaningful and look forward to seeing you virtually at the post-film program.
