Director's Statement
Andean Condor is a project that is a cornerstone in my life: after many years working with advertising movies, I decided to mark my Rebirth in terms of a career with a film that is a Rebirth by itself.
After a week in a hospital, I started look to at my life in a very special way, after this I started a pursue my true goals.
I hope all people can be inspired by our protagonist Maril’s journey and find the courage to
make their personal change.

William Mazzola - Director
William Mazzola is a Brazilian filmmaker currently based in Los Angeles. William started his career as an editor, advertising films for over ten years before he transitioned into directing commercials, which was in line with his degree in Social Communication and Marketing. A few years ago, a personal experience inspired him to start creating and directing his own films. William is currently focusing his career as a director and cinematographer, further developing his voice in order to express that which matters most to him.
Felipe Meneghel - Cinematographer
Felipe Meneghel worked as a director of photography and camera operator for the past 23 years, and has gathered in his curriculum, hundreds of TV ads, many music videos, shorts and four feature films. He won the prize for best cinematography at CINE CEARA, Brazilian film festival, in 2011, and got short listed in Mar del Plata film festival, in 2010, with the feature film “O Coro”. He also filmed nine advertising jobs that won the Lion of Cannes, in 2015 and 2016. He has a classical photography formation, acquired at UCLA from 1997 to 1998, and has participated in several different workshops about cinematography. Before, he also worked on production for Television ads in Brazil and abroad.
Carol Saraiva - Screenwriter
Carol Saraiva is a Creative Director with 20 years of experience currently working as a Global Creative Director at Walt Disney Company. Condor de Los Andes is her debut as a screenwriter.
