Gregory, aka Greg (31), and his 4-month pregnant girlfriend Demelsa (29) rush to the hospital due to her severe bleeding. They lose the baby, and when they return home, Demelsa is emotionally closed off.

The next morning, a heated argument arises over how they cope with their grief. Greg escapes into work and heavy smoking, which concerns his boss. Tensions rise further when he and his bandmates fight during rehearsal over musical mistakes.

At home, Demelsa blames Greg's drug use for her miscarriage, leading to an explosive argument. She ultimately kicks him out, unable to bear his reminders of their loss.

Greg seeks refuge with his mother but doesn't share his pain. After receiving a warning from his boss, he leaves in anger. Confronted by his newborn niece, the reality of his loss hits him hard. During rehearsal, he loses control and fights a band member before storming out.

While driving recklessly, he nearly hits an 11-year-old boy. Back at his mother’s, Greg finally breaks down and allows himself to feel the pain, finding solace as his mother embraces him silently.
