What challenges emerge from taking the road less travelled? The following set explores the eternal struggle artists must face between making a living and making art that is true to themselves. Here, we paired a film about an indie musician finding his way with an experimental dance performance about finding community. In both films, characters with artistic aspirations break away from mainstream and conventional expectations to forge their own paths.

run(A)way depicts the psychological interior of those living in loneliness and isolation searching for an escape. Connected by their shared experience, the characters runaway to an imaginary world where they masked their reality to fashion a world that gives them a sense of community.
