Bori, an 11-year-old girl who lives in a sea village, is the only hearing family member. As a student at her elementary school, she seamlessly communicates by speaking with her other classmates. Yet, at home, she struggles with joining in a sign language conversation with her family. After getting separated from her family at a fireworks showcase, Bori begins to resent her ability to hear as it causes her to feel alienated from them. As the film progresses, Bori sets off in several attempts to rid herself of her hearing. This heartwarming family drama portrays a message of acceptance while tackling themes of identity and belonging.
