American filmmaker and activist Bryan Fogel, whose Icarus won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature, follows the shocking case of Jamal Khashoggi in his latest feature. In 2018, the US-based journalist and prolific critic of Saudi Arabian governance entered the country’s embassy in Istanbul, where he was murdered. Featuring unprecedented access to those closest to him, Fogel’s investigative documentary untangles the extraordinary circumstances of his death and his life’s work.
