Several months after a car accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down, 26-year-old Ezra struggles to hold on to his identity. Unable to walk and growing increasingly frustrated, he has yet to leave the house in his wheelchair on his own. Under the care of his sister, Carla, and regular visits from physiotherapists, Ezra has nearly lost all hope. A new session with an attractive, enthusiastic physiotherapist named Michael couldn't have come a better time.

His progress kicks into high gear, and for the first time since the accident, Ezra may have finally found a new lease on life. Several sessions in, the next rotation of therapy means Michael's job is done and he is replaced by a new therapist. Coming to terms with the discovery that he has feelings for a man, can either let this crush him, or he can use what he's learned with Michael to venture back outside, and turn to the next page of his life. The choice is purely his.
