About the Film: A short non-fiction film about the lack of touch for single people during the COVID-19 pandemic and how two queer, BIPOC friends sustain each other through verbal communication and connection. About the Filmmaker: RODNEY EVANS is a fiction and documentary filmmaker. His latest feature length film, VISION PORTRAITS, had its World Premiere at the 2019 SXSW Film Festival and won the Jury Award for Best Documentary at Frameline-The San Francisco Int'l. LGBTQ+ Film Festival. It played theatrically in major U.S cities to universal acclaim. His debut fiction feature BROTHER TO BROTHER won the Sundance Special Jury Prize. The film garnered four Independent Spirit Award Nominations including Best First Film and Best Debut Performance for Anthony Mackie. Evans was a 2020 Sundance Momentum Fellow and is an NEH/Firelight Media Spark Fund Recipient for 2022.

About the Film: So We Moved: A Portrait of Jack Halberstam is an intimate portrait of the writer and queer theorist Jack Halberstam. The portrait finds Jack in action in and around New York City: biking, swimming, walking, and teaching. Jack’s seemingly ordinary routine becomes a means for dialogue and reflection, ultimately revealing a complex self that rejects easy categorization and the limits of gender and identity politics. About the Filmmaker: Adam Pendleton (b. 1984) is a New York-based artist. His work has been shown at the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the New Museum, and the Palais de Tokyo, among many others.﻿

About the Film: Love, Barbara is a personal exploration of the love that inspired the trailblazing work of late lesbian experimental filmmaker &amp; artist, Barbara Hammer, as told by her partner of over thirty years, Florrie Burke.In her collection of nearly 100 films, Barbara Hammer centered her own body, community, and love to create performative documentations of her lived experience as a lesbian. Her greatest love of all, though, was left largely visually unexplored in her public work. In Love, Barbara, Florrie Burke will discover Barbara’s personal work about their relationship, much of it unseen. Through blending cinematic imagery and archival materials such as video letters, sketches, and writing, we illuminate this piece of Barbara Hammer’s legacy. About the Filmmaker: Brydie O’Connor (she/her) is a Kansas-bred, NY-based filmmaker. Her award-winning documentary work focuses on women-driven and queer stories, and has screened at Academy Award-qualifying festivals such as Outfest, Santa Barbara International Film Festival, and DOC NYC, along with galleries and The Museum of Modern Art. Much of her work is inspired by archival histories and her upbringing in the Midwest.

Love, Barbara is a short documentary on the iconic legacy of pioneering lesbian experimental filmmaker, Barbara Hammer, told through the lens and love of her partner of over 30 years.

About the Film: Colman Domingo, Malcolm Gets, Laura Innes and Kevin Bacon star in this heartbreaking story that challenges the meanings of freedom, faith, and family. A rural rancher must sacrifice everything to care for his dying husband whose zealot sister arrives to impose her will while a pair of televangelists peddle shame, fear, and division as the cornerstones of faith. About the Filmmaker: P.J. Palmer is an award-winning filmmaker, creating films, documentaries, TV series, and commercial projects. He was raised in the rural mountains of Northern California and has always loved telling stories with motion pictures. He now lives in New York City and Los Angeles. P.J. worked as series producer for the LGBTQ+ drama series, Anyone But Me, now on Amazon Prime. He has written an award-winning pilot script titled On Cannery Row. And he recently completed his feature script, Son Of A Preacher Man. About the Filmmakers: Susan O’Brien is a NY-based filmmaker and writer whose work has been featured in film festivals globally, the Smithsonian, online publications, and global campaigns for Me Too International and Planned Parenthood. She is an alumni of the prestigious Tribeca and Chanel’s Through Her Lens filmmaking program. Susan O’Brien is a NY based filmmaker who creates art to celebrate the voices of women, the LGBTQIA+ community and marginalized groups. Diovanna LaBeija (she/her) is an Afrolatina multidisciplinary visual and performance artist and small business owner, based out of Brooklyn, NY. She has choreographed for Grammy-nominated artist, starred in Tribeca film selects, and spoken nationally and internationally on Ballroom and Vogue cultural history. Her work lives at the intersection of her spirituality and transfemme identity/experience, to create a unique expression of Black trans thought and artistic advocacy. When We Arrive As Flowers is her directorial debut.&nbsp;
