It was animated entirely outdoors in the Hudson Valley of New York. Director's Bio: Alisa Stern is an animator who currently lives in Brooklyn but grew up in the Hudson Valley. She loves making art and hiking.

Synopsis: On a day in the life behind your television, five personified cop costumes attempt to guard the line of justice under rising pressures. Inspired by the director's experience growing up in a police family and reckoning with its complicated legacy on screen. Director's Bio: Gretta Wilson is a director, producer and production designer based in New York City. After graduating from NYU Tisch, her work in documentary and fashion at the cult magazine Nylon garnered 100,000+ views across all platforms. She directed music videos for artists like Katie Toupin and has worked with companies ranging from Vogue and Hess to the Hubbell Foundation. Most recently, Gretta co-produced the short animated documentary MIZUKO (Water Child), made with support from the Tribecca If/Then documentary program. It received a special jury mention at both SXSW and IDFA Documentary Festival. Gretta is fascinated with the way pop culture effects public consciousness. A fanatic movie trivia enthusiast, her genre-bending films mix peculiar archetypes to shed new light on old stories.

Thin Blue Variety Show

Synopsis: JAMIE AND YOKO is an animated comedy shot in real time using tiny figurines and 80's special effects. Director's Bio: After working in marketing for a few years, Michelle Verdugo decided that creating a comedy series without any analytics, focus groups or feedback would be cathartic and fun. Her obsession with Red Caboose, a model train store in Times Square, gave her plenty of inspiration and supplies. The figurines used in JAMIE AND YOKO are what train nerds refer to as HO scale, which is 1:87, or about 16.5mm—&nbsp;about half the size of a matchstick. Michelle spent most of her 20s as a DJ and music producer, so naturally she composed and played all the music in the series using a few different apps and the occasional instrument. She is currently earning a bachelors in Literary, Media and Visual Arts at City College of New York.

Jamie and Yoko

Synopsis: Growing up, Jesse didn't think she was any different from her friends— until the Change. This is a heartfelt story of insecurity, growth, and self-acceptance told through the eyes of a young worm trying to find her place in a butterfly's world. Director's Bio: Stephanie Blakey is a director and storyboard supervisor in Vancouver. Her previous film, THE LAST RESORT, a female-led, paper cut-out animated comedy horror, won the Audience Award at the Austin International Film Festival and played internationally at dozens more. After attending Emily Carr University for animation, she got her Master's degree in Directing Animation from the National Film and Television School in the UK and has television series training from La Poudrière in France. Her most recent film, THE BUTTERFLY AFFECT, was made during a Women in Animation program and is currently on the festival circuit. Director's Bio: Candy Kugel, a longtime voting member of both AMPAS and the TV Academy, began her career at Perpetual Motion Pictures and has made over a dozen award-winning independent shorts, which are all part of MoMA’s Film Archives. In April 2018, I, CANDY premiered at MoMA as part of "An Evening with Candy Kugel." Through Buzzco Associates, Kugel has created TV programming, educational films and ads.

Director's Bio: Anne Isensee is an animator and director of animated short films and music videos from Berlin. She first studied media and sociology before she came to her senses and studied animation at the Film University Babelsberg and EnsAD Paris. Her short films MEGATRICK and ICH WILL were shown at international festivals.

Synopsis: A father tries to stay connected with his bed-ridden daughter who is in a coma. He plays a windup music box that she can hear in her dreams that helps guide her way back. Director's Bio: Yibing Jiang is the writer, director and art director of the animated short film WINDUP. Jiang has more than ten years of experience in the video game and animated film industry, and has worked on projects at Naughty Dog, Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios. WINDUP is Jiang's directorial debut.

Directors' Bios: Will McCormack and Michael Govier are making their directorial debut with IF ANYTHING HAPPENS I LOVE YOU. McCormack and Govier are producers, writers, actors, and directors. McCormack wrote TOY STORY 4 and CELESTE AND JESSE FOREVER. Govier has written multiple short films and plays, and has performed on tv and in commercials.

If Anything Happens I Love You

Synopsis: This short film is dedicated to all the women and children across the globe who are facing cruelty at home during the lockdown. The film appeals to the emotional quotient of the audience regarding the issue of domestic violence through the medium of AVI. Director's Bio: Lolita Bhaduri is a practicing communication designer. She has created several animated films and has won many accolades, including the Promax Gold Award in 2017 and the DigiPub Gold 2017. Her freelance project with NDTV won the Bronze World Medal at the New York Festival's - World’s Best TV and Films in 2017, in the category News Promotion.

Synopsis: BEYOND NOH rhythmically animates 3,475 individual masks from all over the world, beginning with the distinctive masks of the Japanese Noh theater and continuing on a cultural journey through ritual, utility, deviance, and politics. Director's Bio: Director/Producer team Patrick Smith and Kaori Ishida are known for their metaphorical animated and experimental short films. Smith has been a storyboard artist for Walt Disney, an animation director for MTV, and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Synopsis: Poking fun at the surreal onslaught of sourdough content instigated by the coronavirus lockdown, along its ubiquitous presence on Instagram, this darkly hilarious video forges a nightmare by merging the sudden baking craze with the unsettling proliferation of conspiracy theories. The main character, checking his Instagram nightly at 3:00am, is haunted by visions of natural yeast and baked goods! Director's Bio: Brooklyn-based visual artist, designer, and director Doug Fitch has created productions for LA Opera, LA Philharmonic, Santa Fe Opera, the National Symphony, Teatro del Lago in Chile, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Bard’s SummerScape Festival, and others. Fitch is a co-founder of Giants Are Small, which produced concert theater productions with symphony orchestras and an interactive app and CD, featuring Alice Cooper narrating Peter and the Wolf in Hollywood. He has written several books, including Orgnas of Emotion and Orphic Fodder, and was a frequent contributor to Metropolis Magazine.

Synopsis: Filmmaker Beck Underwood heads to the streets with a vintage porcelain doll, some magical eggs and a gaggle of paper dolls to capture the charm of living in the moment in this valentine to the sights and sounds of the Mexican town of San Miguel de Allende. Director's Bio: Beck Underwood is a filmmaker based in NYC and the Hudson Valley. Her short films combine live action and stop-motion animation.

Synopsis: Watercolor animation by Bill Plympton set to the spontaneously abstract music of Pearring Sound. Director's Bio: Bill Plympton is considered the King of Indie Animation, and in 1987 he was nominated for an Oscar for his animated short YOUR FACE. In 2005, Bill received another Oscar nomination for his short GUARD DOG. Since 1991, he's made eight animated features, including THE TUNE, I MARRIED A STRANGE PERSON!, and CHEATIN', and in 2006, he received the Winsor McCay Lifetime Achievement Award from the Annie Awards.
