Arunachal Virtual Archive is a project that introduced Virtual Reality as a nature education tool for indigenous youth living around Pakke Tiger Reserve and Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary in the remote north eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh in India. The project involved filming many common and some rare and important species using 360 cameras, and viewing these videos using VR headsets to make the experience immersive and interactive, something that isn’t possible with traditional video formats. This film is a behind the scenes look at the two year long project.
